Your Story Is Your Superpower
The Business Storytelling Centre is a boutique leadership development organisation working with global organisations to attract, retain, and engage talent
Our Why
The traditional leadership development space is dominated by White male trainers from predominantly Western countries and this reflects on the knowledge shared. Since the frameworks and perspectives are predominatly unilateral, the knowledge shared with organisations doesn’t contribute to create workplaces that are reflective of the world we live in. In other words, the traditional approach reinforces the lack of diversity and inclusion instead of closing the gap.
Our mission and commitment is to address diversity in the workplace and support leaders in developing their skills in a way that is accessible and informed by their lived experiences. We leverage academic research, deep analysis, and our own lived experiences to create strategic storytelling frameworks that contribute to bringing employees together in one cohesive narrative. We know storytelling is more than simply being able to present a PowerPoint in an engaging way. In fact, we are the first company in the world to embed business storytelling techniques in every step of our interventions.

It was great that all of us worked on real stories we needed for our work. Also, I felt there was a good balance between what we were asked to share in the joint notes/chat and what we could keep private.
